Source reviewed September 9, 2026: Green Data's May 2026 community FAQ described a proposed 2 GW renewable-powered data center with onsite solar, storage, and backup grid interconnection; Data Center Dynamics reported the earlier 10 GW solar / 2 GW data-center concept and no formal application at that time. New Mexico Tech later declined to proceed and Socorro County adopted a one-year moratorium, according to public reporting. The dataset's 2,000 MW remains proposed project-scale context, not confirmed utility load, generation, energized capacity, or data-center IT load.
