City materials add a no-water-for-cooling design claim and the Minnesota PUC identifies the related Electric Service Agreement, but no reviewed source establishes measured water use, energized capacity, or data-center IT load.

Minnesota Power's March 2026 announcement says the planned Hermantown Google data center will support online services including Workspace, Search, YouTube and Maps. This company/utility guidance supports a general online-services classification, but does not establish a training/inference split, hardware, or facility workload allocation.
Google is the publicly named end user and operator context for the proposed campus. The named products establish intended online-service use, not a measured operating workload. Hermantown's updated project page and KAXE's June 2026 report record continued environmental review and public-comment/agreement activity, which is project-status context rather than workload evidence. Keep training/inference, hardware, customer shares and workload MW unknown; project-scale 300-600 MW or 700 MW energy resources are not workload capacity.

This is a project-design statement, not a measured withdrawal, water-service, wastewater, or operating-use quantity; those records remain unresolved.
