Akash adds opt-in confidential compute, with attestation limits
Akash announced CPU and CPU-GPU TEE deployment options through params.tee. Its example runs Ollama inside an isolated workload. The announcement explicitly says the example does not perform attestation, integrated attestation tooling remains in development, and provider capacity is early-stage.
Research interpretation
Confidentiality could address an enterprise objection to unknown compute operators, but isolation without attestation is not a complete verification workflow.
