Duplicate and location audit

The launch version is broad, public-source oriented, and explicit about the difference between confirmed facilities, directory leads, approximate locations, and public-records request trails.

Duplicate posture

Imports use stable source-prefixed IDs and name/place matching for FOIA overlays. Suspected duplicates should be routed through the correction queue before removal.

Location precision

Approximate leads remain labeled and are treated as locality markers, not parcel-level claims. The map currently includes 7,258 mapped records.

Claim discipline

FOIA approvals publish the request trail only. NDA, water, power, and public money facts remain unresolved until response documents or public sources are added.

Launch Language

Use “growing public-source map,” not “complete map of every data center.”
Keep imported directory rows labeled as leads unless locally verified.
Route public objections through corrections so fixes are traceable.
